Hii girlies, welcome back to my blog! I know it has been a long time coming. The beginning of 2025 has been rough but you know the saying, New Year, New Me! But, my new saying is New Year, Bigger and Better Me! While I was looking out my balcony window, I was thinking about creating a blog about people who not only love to travel but also love the snow. So, I made my favorite places to travel to see snow's beauty and the quiet's pureness.

Switzerland

Winter Wanderlust in Switzerland

Why Go: The Swiss Alps offer some of the world’s best skiing, snowboarding, and winter sports. Beyond skiing, you can explore charming alpine villages like Zermatt, Interlaken, and St. Moritz, famous for their luxurious resorts and stunning snowy landscapes.

Top Activities: Skiing, snowboarding, winter hiking, and taking scenic train rides like the Glacier Express. Don’t miss the iconic Matterhorn Mountain or a visit to the stunning Ice Palace inside the Jungfraujoch.

Winter Wanderlust in Finland

Lapland, Finland

Why Go: Lapland is a magical winter destination located above the Arctic Circle, known for its Northern Lights, Santa Claus Village, and reindeer sleigh rides. It’s a place of snowy wilderness, and it's perfect for those seeking a winter wonderland experience.

Top Activities: Northern Lights viewing, husky sledding, snowmobiling, and visiting Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi. If you’re lucky, you might even spot some reindeer roaming the snowy forests.

Iceland

Why Go: Iceland's winter landscape is uniquely beautiful, with frozen waterfalls, glaciers, and natural hot springs. It’s the perfect destination for those looking to experience both adventure and relaxation in a winter setting.

Norway (Tromsø)

Why Go: Tromsø is considered one of the best places in the world to see the Northern Lights. This Arctic city is rich in culture and offers amazing winter activities, making it a perfect winter getaway.

Top Activities: Northern Lights tours, dog sledding, and whale watching. You can also explore the Arctic wildlife or experience staying in a traditional ice hotel.

Banff National Park, Canada

Why Go: Nestled in the Canadian Rockies, Banff offers breathtaking mountain views, snow-covered pine forests, and frozen lakes. The park is a winter paradise, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.

Top Activities: Ice skating on Lake Louise, skiing at Banff or Sunshine Village, snowshoeing through the forest or relaxing in the hot springs with snow-capped mountains surrounding you.
